Skincare Steps Simplified

Step 1: Cleanse

Cleansing Oil: Specifically formulated to detoxify the skin and dissolve impurities without over-drying so that you're left with a complexion that feels soft, clean and balanced.

Skin Tip: Cleansing 1x/day before bed is all you need! If you need more of a refresh first thing in the morning (or after a sweat session), use a Skin-Specific Bar or Baby Bar for a gentle cleanse.

Step 2: Tone

Everything Spray: Pour onto an organic cotton round and sweep across your skin to help calm redness, detoxify skin and balance pH levels with healing enzymes + anti-inflammatory ingredients.

Skin Specific Mists: Spritz these botanical hydrosols onto skin to replenish the skin’s protective barrier and prep skin to deeply absorb moisturizer.

Skin Tip: Rotate all three Skin Specific Mists into your regimen depending on the time of day, season or current skin needs.

Step 3: Treat

3 Skin Specific Serums (Plumping, Clarifying, Soothing): Massage into damp skin morning + night to promote a youthful appearance, prevent signs of aging and deeply nourish to support vibrant, balanced skin.

Step 4: Hydrate

Double Cleanse: This 2-step technique (Cleansing Oil+Skin Specific Bar) purifies oil-rich skin while leaving it properly hydrated to create a clear, balanced complexion.

Mask: After cleansing and toning, apply a thin layer to damp skin 1-3x/week for best results. Relax for 15-30 minutes (or more!), rinse with water and finish with toner, serum and/or cream.

Wellness Tools: How To Guide

Gua Sha

  • Prep: Apply Skin-Specific Serum and/or Beauty Cream to freshly cleansed skin to provide proper slip + infuse nutrients into skin.
  • Pressure: Always use light pressure. You can incorporate more medium/firm pressure on specific areas where you carry more tension to relieve stagnation (shoulders, jaw, etc).
  • Pull: Use a 15-degree angle (about a finger’s width between the skin + stone) and support skin with the opposite hand (especially under the delicate eye area!).
  • Placement: Avoid active acne breakouts and work around inflammation instead of directly over it to stimulate healing. Wiggle stone slightly at the end of each step to stimulate flow and release tension.
  • Commit: Even if you only have 5 minutes or less, follow the neck sequence to open up pathways + promote lymph drainage.
  • Clean: We recommend spritzing your Gua Sha Stone with our non-toxic Hand Sanitizer or washing with warm + soapy water after each use. 

Facial Cupping

  • Practice facial cupping for 5-15 minutes 3x/week (allow skin to rest in between sessions for best results!)
  • Technique: Flash Cupping: Suction for 1-2 seconds and release. Fluid Cupping: Suction, slide, release.
  • Incorporate this ritual as the final step in your skincare routine - PM: Stimulate skin’s natural reparative and rejuvenation process before sleeping. AM: Minimize puffiness and restore your glow for the day ahead
  • Keep facial cups in constant motion to avoid any redness or bruising on the skin. (However, you may experience some temporary redness as it increases blood flow to the surface of the skin.)
  • The closer to the base of the cup you squeeze, the stronger the suction will be. Tune in to the suction pressure that feels more supportive for your skin.
  • Work around areas experiencing active acne, inflamed sensitivities, broken capillaries, botox or fillers.
  • Clean facial cups after every use with a gentle, non-toxic soap and the cleansing brush included with the set.

Rigid Roller

  • Apply Serum and/or Beauty Cream to freshly cleansed skin to provide proper slip. Always start with the neck and move upwards, using light/short strokes to stimulate lymphatic flow and circulation. Incorporate more medium/firm pressure to target muscle tension and help reduce signs of aging + discoloration while working around active acne breakouts to promote healing.
  • Rounded Handle: Use this end to stimulate acupressure points along the face to release tension and rejuvenate skin from within.
  • Keep in the fridge/freezer to decrease puffiness, tighten skin, and refresh your complexion.

Dry Brushing 101

Body Dry Brush

Before showering, begin at your feet and brush upwards with gentle, short strokes – always towards your heart.

Brush in a counterclockwise direction over your belly (this helps to improve digestion!) and then brush from your hands to your heart.

To finish, brush down toward your underarms to help flush out toxins + improve lymph drainage. Always use light pressure – the point isn’t to scrub off your skin, but to gently, effectively get blood + lymphatic fluid moving.

Tip: After showering, apply body oil + enjoy your skin’s glow and your new found energy.

Facial Dry Brush

Incorporate facial dry brushing daily after oil cleansing in your evening skincare routine or as the first step in your morning skincare routine to awaken and invigorate skin.

Starting at the neck, brush with light downward strokes to stimulate lymphatic drainage. Work your way up the face with short, soft strokes moving from the center to your hairline. Spend a little extra time wherever you experience congestion, puffiness or buildup.

Finish with long upward strokes from the neck up the face.
